I do not expect one shampoo to solve every hair concern, so I prefer rotating products depending on how my hair feels. Some wash days are all about keeping waves and curls soft, while others are focused on shine or everyday nourishment.
These three shampoos are quite different, which is exactly why they work well in the same routine.
Earth Rhythm Murumuru Butter Shampoo Disc
For days when I want something compact and especially suited to wavy or curly hair, I reach for Earth Rhythm Murumuru Butter Shampoo Disc. The formula is made with murumuru butter and is positioned specifically for waves and curls, with the goal of keeping coarser hair feeling more supple and manageable. I like the solid format because it is easy to store and convenient for travel. I usually wet both my hair and the solid shampoo, create a light lather, and concentrate most of the cleansing around my scalp. The murumuru butter makes this feel like a more conditioning choice than I would normally expect from a solid shampoo.
I especially appreciate it when my lengths feel dry and I want cleansing without making my curls feel rough afterward.
L'Oréal Paris Elseve Glycolic Gloss Extra Gloss Shampoo
When dullness and lack of shine are my main concerns, this is the product I choose. L'Oréal Paris Elseve Glycolic Gloss Extra Gloss Shampoo contains a 3% glycolic acid complex and is designed for dull, porous hair. The formula is intended to help smooth the hair fibre and improve light reflection, making the hair look glossier.
I use it when my hair looks flat or the surface feels rougher than usual. The shampoo lathers well and feels more like a traditional cleansing formula than the Earth Rhythm Murumuru Butter Shampoo Disc. What I like most is the focus on shine: after washing, I want my hair to feel cleaner but also look smoother and more polished. For me, this is more of a targeted gloss-focused option than a basic everyday shampoo.
Naturali Daily Strength & Nourish Shampoo
For a simpler everyday wash, Naturali Daily Strength & Nourish Shampoo with Rice Water & Macadamia Nut Oil is the easiest option of the three. The formula is aimed at dry and frizzy hair and combines rice water with macadamia nut oil to support softness, nourishment, and manageability.
I like using it when my hair does not need anything particularly intensive. The creamy texture feels comfortable, and I see it as a balanced choice for regular washing when I mainly want clean, soft, manageable lengths.
How I Choose Between Them
Earth Rhythm is my curl-focused option, L'Oréal is the one I choose when shine is the priority, and Naturali works best for straightforward everyday nourishment.
Rotating them helps me adapt my wash routine without expecting one formula to do everything.
