Sun Care I’d Actually Wear

· Fashion Team
For me, the best sun products are the ones I genuinely want to apply every morning.
I look for comfortable textures, strong protection and formulas that offer something extra, whether that means hydration, support for dark spots or soothing ingredients.
Institut Esthederm Adaptasun
This is the option I’d reach for when I want sun protection to feel more like luxurious skincare. Adaptasun is designed to protect skin from UVA and UVB exposure while supporting hydration and helping to prevent visible photoaging. The formula is also positioned around enhancing the skin’s natural tanning process, which makes it especially interesting for sunny holidays.
What attracts me most is the idea of combining protection with a more comfortable, moisturising finish. I personally dislike sunscreens that leave my face feeling tight or overly matte, so a hydrating formula immediately feels more wearable.
Bioderma Photoderm Spot-Age SPF 50+
If pigmentation is one of my main concerns, this is the product I find most interesting. Photoderm Spot-Age SPF 50+ combines very high sun protection with antioxidant and skincare ingredients including vitamin C, vitamin E and Centella asiatica. The formula is designed to help protect against photoaging while targeting the appearance of dark spots and fine lines.
I like this kind of multitasking SPF because I’m already trying to protect my skin every day, so having additional skincare benefits makes the step feel much more worthwhile.
Uriage Bariéderm Cica-Cream SPF 50+
This one stands out to me for a completely different reason. It feels more like a protective cica treatment with SPF than a conventional sunscreen.
The formula combines UVA and UVB filters with copper-zinc, panthenol, hyaluronic acid and soothing ingredients, and it is specifically designed for weakened or irritated skin. It is also fragrance-free.
I would consider this especially when my skin barrier feels stressed, after irritation or whenever I want something protective without making my routine overly complicated.
For me, this is exactly where sun care is heading: SPF formulas that do more than simply sit on top of the skin. I want protection that fits naturally into my skincare routine, and these are the kinds of formulas that make daily sunscreen much easier to enjoy.
