Lip Balm Care!

Lip balm is one of those things I always underestimate. I buy it thinking it’s just for “dry lips emergencies,” but somehow it ends up being something I reach for almost daily.
Not really for correction, more for comfort—and a bit of shine when I don’t feel like doing much else. Two that ended up staying in my rotation are Peripera Ink Mood Glowy Balm and Rom&nd Glasting Melting Balm Tint.

Peripera Ink Mood Glowy Balm

This one feels very easygoing. The texture is soft, almost like it melts a little the moment it touches the lips. It gives a natural shine that doesn’t look too glossy or too heavy, just a healthy, slightly fresh finish. What I like most is how low-effort it is. I don’t need a mirror to use it properly, and it doesn’t feel like something that needs constant checking throughout the day. I usually reach for this when I want my lips to look a bit more alive without actually doing makeup.

Rom&nd Glasting Melting Balm Tint

This one feels a bit more noticeable in comparison. The color shows up more clearly, and the finish has that soft glossy look that catches light in a gentle way. It feels like a mix between balm and tint, so it stays a bit longer than expected for something so comfortable.
I tend to use this when I want a bit more presence on my lips, even on minimal makeup days. It adds color without feeling heavy, and it slowly fades in a way that still looks okay, which makes it easy to carry through the day without worrying too much.
Both balms sit in that middle space between care and makeup. Peripera feels more natural and quiet, while Rom&nd adds a bit more color and personality. I switch between them depending on how much effort I feel like putting in, or sometimes just whatever I grab first before heading out.
