Exfoliating skincare can make my routine feel more effective, but I’ve learned that using several strong products at once isn’t the way to go.
I prefer choosing one treatment depending on what my skin needs and keeping the rest of my routine simple.
These three products each bring a different approach to refining the look of my complexion.

1. The Ordinary Azelaic Acid Suspension 10%

The Ordinary Azelaic Acid Suspension 10% is one of the products I reach for when my complexion looks uneven or a little dull. The creamy suspension has a different feel from traditional acid toners, so I usually use a small amount and let it settle before moisturizer. It fits nicely into a simple evening routine when I want targeted care without adding too many layers.

2. Paula's Choice Skin Perfecting 6% Mandelic Acid + 2% Lactic Acid Liquid Exfoliant

When I want a dedicated exfoliating step, Paula's Choice 6% Mandelic Acid + 2% Lactic Acid Liquid Exfoliant is the one I reach for. Combining mandelic acid and lactic acid gives it a more treatment-focused role in my routine, so I avoid pairing it with several other exfoliating actives at the same time. I prefer using it gradually and paying attention to how my skin responds.

3. Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum

Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum gives my routine a more lightweight, serum-based approach to brightening. I like applying it after cleansing and before moisturizer because the texture layers easily without making my skin feel overloaded. It has become one of my favorites when I want my complexion to look more radiant and even without using a heavy treatment.
Each product has a different place in my skincare rotation. The Ordinary gives me azelaic acid in a creamy formula, Caudalie adds a lightweight radiance-focused serum, and Paula's Choice provides a dedicated blend of exfoliating acids. I find that spacing out treatment products and keeping hydration in the routine makes exfoliation much easier to manage.
