Double Cleanser: Deep Clean!

Double cleansing used to sound like something only strict skincare routines cared about. I didn’t think I needed it until I noticed how makeup and sunscreen don’t always come off as cleanly as I assumed.
After that, it became less about “extra steps” and more about just making sure my skin actually feels clean at the end of the day. Two products I often go back to are Garnier Micellar Water and NAMA Skin Deep Cleansing Gel.
Garnier Micellar Water
This is usually the first step for me, especially on days when I’ve worn makeup or sunscreen. It feels light, almost like water, but it does more than it looks like it should. I soak a cotton pad and gently wipe everything off without having to scrub or repeat too many times. What I like is how uncomplicated it feels.
There’s no foam, no rinsing at this stage, just a simple way to break things down before actually washing the face. It makes the second step feel easier because most of the surface stuff is already gone.
NAMA Skin Deep Cleansing Gel
After micellar water, this cleanser feels like the real reset. It has a smooth gel texture that spreads easily and turns into a light foam when mixed with water. It doesn’t feel harsh, which is something I pay attention to because some cleansers can leave skin feeling tight afterward. This one feels more balanced. It finishes the job without making the skin uncomfortable.
These two work well together because they handle different parts of the same process. One takes care of removing what sits on top, the other cleans what’s left behind. It’s not complicated, but the combination makes a noticeable difference in how the skin feels afterward—clean, but still comfortable enough to move on with the rest of the routine.
